NEVER AGAIN 

Nothing changes without concrete actions. This is our deepest conviction, and all the more so today, 21 March, on the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

The prevention of racism, in all its forms, on and off the pitch is a concrete goal for Juventus.

Today, the voice is that of Timothy Weah, but it could be that of any single athlete, member of the technical staff, or employee: we all deplore racism in all its forms. The outrage is unanimous because the issue affects us all.

In all of Juventus’ ecosystems, for example in the stadium and online, our goal is to construct a healthy environment that does not include any expressions of racial discrimination.

Since the 2014-2015 season, the Allianz Stadium has been equipped with a system of 86 Panomera multi-focus cameras, which allows it to be used in unison with analog cameras. In this way, it has been possible to identify behaviours that are not in line with the stadium's regulations. This season there have been no incidents of racism, proving that the technology is a deterrent.

The desire to act on several fronts also includes our digital community. With over 165 million followers, Juventus has one of the online ecosystems with the biggest following and our goal, once again, is to build a healthy environment in which everybody can express themselves freely. For this reason, in January 2024 the company decided to adopt a tool that allows the automatic moderation of comments on our posts that contain hate speech, while preserving freedom of speech. On average, 1,500 pieces of content are published every week within the entire digital ecosystem, and since January 30,000 hate messages, including around 400 that contained racist language, were immediately removed.

In the future we will continue our commitment to pursuing this path and loudly shout "Never again”.
