Ahead of Juventus Women's game against Fiorentina on Saturday afternoon, Bianconere coach Giuseppe Zappella spoke to look ahead to the game. Kick-off on Saturday, 30 March, is set for 15:00 CET at the Stadio La Marmora-Pozzo in Biella.

Having not been in action last weekend, the Bianconere will step out in Biella before the upcoming international window.

TWO WEEKS' WORK

"We've finally had a bit of time together on the training pitch to work and the girls have given their all. They've made put themselves at our disposal and shown real desire to get out of this tough period as soon as possible. In these two weeks' training I've seen real positive signs and I've seen the girls focused on what our goals are between now and the end of the season."

THE DRAW AGAINST INTER

“In these couple of weeks we’ve also had the chance to analyse the game against Inter, looking at the positives and at the things we still have to work to improve. We had a lot of chances to score and that has to continue. But we have to be better at managing the different spells of a game because we have all of the quality to do so. There are phases wherein we can push on, but others wherein we need to be a bit more cautious, hold onto the ball and avoid constant transitions that see us waste energy and risk paying for it at the end of the game. But, that said, I saw a lot of positives against Inter and I want the girls to focus on those elements too.”

WHAT IS EXPECTED AGAINST FIORENTINA

“I expect a different game to the one we played in the semi-final second leg of the Italian Cup, but I expect the same Fiorentina to show up with real attacking talent. We’ll try to play an attacking game but with the utmost attention on managing their counterattacking opportunities. It’ll be an important game, but we don’t want to make any calculations now. We’ll have to play a clever game, and I’d like Fiorentina’s game to be impacted by what we do."

GUARANTEES AND POSSIBILITIES

“If we are to win it would open a big gap in the table in terms of points between us and them. It’ll be important to work on some fundamental details if we are to win the game and to make the most of what we can do well. Our first aim is to continue to grow, even if there’s only a month and a half of the season left. We’re convinced that there is a lotto untapped potential in some of the players we have and our job is to get that out of them.”
