Never before has Juventus been more in contact with its fans in Asia. The club has cultivated a vast community on social media with its Weibo and WeChat profiles in the continent and now supporters in China can get closer to the Bianconeri than ever before thanks to a brand new version of Juventus App, specially dedicated to the Chinese market, as well as Juventus VR, an innovative application launched last month, whereby fans can experience the Bianconeri in 360°.
With these two developments, the club has underlined its role as a global brand in the world of sport entertainment.
Juventus Legends president, David Trezeguet, participated at today’s launch event held at Mailman Office in Shanghai: an event that fans across China were able to watch via live streaming on Juventus’ official Weibo page and on the PPTV website.
Local influencers, among whom associates of the Chinese Juventus Official Fan Club and Juventus Members, also took part in the event, which served as a useful opportunity to explain the functions of the two apps, and also to discuss Juventus’ recent projects across the world, including the club’s new brand identity and the development of Academies and Official Fan Clubs.
It’s no coincidence that the Bianconeri are highly active on Chinese social media with 600,000 followers on Weibo and numbers increasing too on its WeChat profile. It was on this platform that, for the Chinese Singles' Day festival “Double 11”, a contest was launched that will see two lucky supporters enjoy an unforgettable experience in Turin by watching Juve-Inter and taking in an exclusive tour from Juventus Training Center in Vinovo right through to Allianz Stadium.
