Legrottaglie: «I want to come back in time for Real Madrid»

Nicola Legrottaglie took part in a nice online chat today with the fans subscribing to JuventusMember. The defender, who is undergoing treatments to recover from the muscle injury he suffered during the recent Champions League game, positioned himself in front of the monitor and answered the insistent questions from the fans and also received a lot of compliments.

The most frequent questions regarded his return to the pitch. «I'm following a cycle of treatments that should make me recover in time to be available against Real Madrid» the defender announced, and this is how he replied to those who asked him about renewing his contract: «I'm proud that the Club have faith in me».

Questions about the mood in the changing room abounded, as did requests for comments about Juventus' start of the season: «The mood is good – Legrottaglie replied – as is our start to the season, let's not forget we're still unbeaten».

Talk then switched to lighter subjects, such as who is his best friend in the team and who is his room mate: «I get along with everybody, but I don't have a closer relationship with anyone, also because I have many friends outside of football. During training camps I stay in a room on my own».

Finally he said goodbye to everybody and after the chat left this comment when interviewed by Juventus Channel: «It was a nice experience, it's a pleasure having direct contact with the fans through a medium such as the internet that connects you even with people who are on the other side of the world. Juventus' idea of creating this online virtual community for fans is just as good; thanks to projects such as this, the fans feel closer to the team they love».
