Juventus Center: works moving fast

The works at the Juventus Center are moving on with a steady pace and in accordance with the works scheme predicted. The works foresee two types of operation: on one side the construction of two stands for the supporters to be able to watch the training sessions of the first team and the matches of the youth sector and on the other the expansion of the building dedicated to the dressing rooms of the youth sector. This last part of the works will allow for all the youngsters of the youth sector to train in one building and a few steps away from the first team. The company’s intention is to represent the importance of the youth sector as an incubator for future champions.

Engineer Riccardo Abrate spoke of the works in progress: «I would say we are on schedule and in accordance to the programme established. The first stand which can hold 200 persons and which overlooks field number 8 is practically ready and we must now finish the adjacent zone which will also include a bar intended for the families of the children and those who have access to the building. Everything will be ready and in operation for the September commitments as will also be the stand overlooking the first team’s training field (with approximately 400 seats) and the relevant parking lot».

The construction of the first floor of the building dedicated to the dressing rooms will take a bit longer but will also be ready by autumn. «Some maintenance works to the ground floor in view of the construction of the first floor have also been carried out – concluded Abrate – both in the sector dedicated to the first team and that dedicated to the youth sector. Even these, however, are about to be finished so as to enable the use of the ground floor dressing rooms as from mid-August while works on the first floor are being carried out in utmost safety.»
