As agreed a while ago, the two clubs will play a friendly match on the 1st of August which will see Juventus Primavera against the Under 19 squad of West-Auckland. The match, therefore will not be one between the first teams as announced on some media. The international friendly will see the participation of Luciano Bruni’s team and will be played in Chiusa Pesio at 17:00hrs. The aim of the match is to commemorate the victory of West-Auckland in what could be defined as the first Clubs World Cup, the Sir Thomas Lipton Trophy which was played in 1909 and which also saw the participation of Juventus. BBC will be sending a troupe to follow the team and produce a special programme.
