Del Piero: «Chiellini made a great pass»

The League's regularity first and foremost. But the biggest motivations before the game against Catania, devoid of meaning for Juve, were definitely Trezeguet's and Del Piero's: team mates on the pitch, but “rivals” in the fight for the League top scorer award. Both tried to score more than once. In the end it was the Captain who found a way to score. Catching up both with Catania and with the Frenchman and Borriello (who didn't increase their 19 quota today) on top of the goal-scorers' list.

The motivations will still be there for another week. At Sampdoria, next Saturday, Trezeguet and Del Piero will have one more reason to play the League season up to the very end. «How will I prepare myself? – the Captain remarked to Juventus Channel – Like the other weeks, to give my best for the team. If I score too, I'll be happy. Today's goal wasn't easy, I have to thank Chiellini for making a great pass, I saw the ball at the last moment and it was just enough to touch it and put it in the back of the net. The League has been re-opened? Sunday there'll be two exciting matches, when Inter Milan and Roma face Parma and Catania. It's great that the League title is awarded on the last day and at the moment it's impossible to tell what will happen».
