Unlike two weeks ago, Juventus didn't waste their chance this time and are closer than ever to qualifying for the major European tournament. In the weekend when AC Milan lost at Roma, Ranieri's team beat Napoli and are now 8 points clear of the Rossoneri, at the same time keeping a 4-point advantage on Fiorentina.
The Bianconeri found the best way to erase the memory of the defeat at the San Paolo, a match that none of them had forgotten. The game was tough and tense, and at the end it was Vincenzo Iaquinta who found the winning goal, worth three precious points, with a tap-in just minutes before the end.
The first “cup final” now over, there are another 10 to play. Beginning with two matches in the space of three days. First a midweek fixture at Empoli, then next Saturday the big match at League leaders Inter Milan in the Easter round.
