Zebina: «At this point something minimal could bring us back on track»

He came on for Cannavaro who was forced to leave the field due to injury. Jonathan Zebina made a very deep analysis of the match hitting on some very important points.

«Tonight we did not lose and therefore I would say it is a step ahead. If we look at the way we are playing objectively, we are trying to respect the new orders by the coach and still haven’t got used to them. Hopefully we will assimilate them soon and win in Genoa unblocking ourselves. We are living a very delicate moment. All the players in the squad are used to winning and competing for the top spots and therefore not being able to come out of this situation puts us in great difficulty. We must show our professionalism and come out of this situation. I don’t think that any coach has a magic wand which would solve all the problems we are encountering. What keeps me optimistic is that there is a team which is trying to do its best even though we are disappointed and sad. It is first and foremost a disappointment for us, especially considering the improvements shown in the last seasons. It is a test to see if the group is up to it».

So, what is it that Juve need to regain confidence and return to victory? : « At this point something minimal could bring us back on track and unblock us. We saw Milan go througha  similar period. All the team has the will to emerge from this situation which is becoming very heavy».
