There are emotions so strong that if you don't experience them first-hand, they are difficult to recount.
Thus we gave Lisa Boattin carte blanche to express all her feelings after having reached 200 presences with the black and white jersey.
It's a satisfaction made even greater by being able to find a goal that was as beautiful as it was important, as it kickstarted the comeback against Sassuolo, which the Bianconere won 2-1.
This is Lisa's beautiful letter to 'her' Juve.
"DEAR JUVE..."
Dear Juventus,
I don't even know where to start, because our story started long before August 2017.
It is a story that began when I was a little girl.... thanks to my dad's love for the Juventus jersey.
A love that he passed on to me and that year after year, grew more and more.
I believe it was destiny that one day I would have the privilege of wearing and defending this jersey.
Today I think back to my room, to the scarves and jerseys hanging there, to the match calendar stuck in the cupboard, to the posters of my idols... how could I ever have imagined that that little girl back then would one day reach the milestone of 200 games with the team of her heart?
And then... the day the call came: 'Boa, we are building the team, do you want to come and play for Juve?'
How do I explain that feeling of a girl who was about to make her dream come true?
I will always remember the feeling I had at that precise moment.
I didn't even need to think about it, I said yes straight away.
I was not interested in anything other than wearing the black and white jersey.
Since that day, together, we have written the history of Juventus Women.
The Champions League nights at the Allianz Stadium, the Scudettos, the Italian Cups, the Super Cups and then... that trophy raised with the captain's armband.
I could have never imagined a more beautiful story than that, our story.
Thanks to all the people who have been part of this incredible journey, from day one to today!
Thank you to our fans who have always supported me, from the first trophies to the toughest times we've been through.
Because we, Juventus, love it even more in the hard times.
Because we are the people of Juve.
Thanks to my family who are my first fans and have never made me feel alone, despite the distance.
Mum and dad, thank you for always being present, home or away, in the league or in the Champions League.
You are my strength and my life! Without you nothing would have been possible.
And finally, thank you to my Juventus! 🤍🖤
Your Lisa.
