Don't be afraid of change, interpret it, live it and maintain high levels of performance. This is the daily challenge in the world of football but also in the world of work, which was tackled tonight at Allianz Stadium, together with Randstad and an exceptional guest, Leonardo Bonucci.
The Juventus defender participated in the "Understanding and transferring change" meeting, where he spoke about his experiences.
“I had the good fortune of experiencing an important career, however, it was necessary, from the beginning, to question myself and to get out of my comfort zone,” he said. “All my football experience has been set on change, following what for me are three steps: first the understanding and acceptance of a suggestion, then elaborating on it and, finally, applying and demonstrate it on the field. I have had so many people who have helped me, on and off the field, like my coaches on one side and my wife on the other."
“I am a superstitious person,” continued Leo. “But I have learned to recognise and choose the people who know how to give me the right advice. If I think about myself a few years ago, I would not make any choices, because the change has led me to experience things differently. I realise that the years are passing, because I see many born in the 2000s breaking into football, and many of my former comrades who have retired. I believe that boys should know how to accept the advice of those who are more expert, and at the same time, those who are older must be able to always absorb the enthusiasm of the youth.”
He then spoke about the present: “Even this season we have had a change in the team, with the arrival of a new coach. Once again, we applied the steps I was talking about: we accepted the situation, we made it our own and give our best to apply it on the field.”
