Allegri 400: Four facts from the Coach's tenure so far

A milestone round figure often gives an excuse to take stock of a journey, of a journey which in the case of Coach Massimiliano Allegri and Juventus has reached its eighth year - from 2014 to today, with the interruption of the two-year period between 2019 -2021 - and above all has led the Livorno coach to take his seat on the Juventus bench for a 400th time. A journey dotted with many highlights, matches won and objectives missed and many others achieved: for this reason we have chosen four numbers to recount his 400 matches as a coach (there could have really been 400), to try to explain at least partly the uniqueness of a path that led Massimiliano Allegri to be the third coach in the history of Juventus to reach such a milestone after Giovanni Trapattoni and Marcello Lippi.

11 - THE TROPHIES WON WITH JUVENTUS | Five Scudetti, four Italian Cups and two Italian Super Cups highlight a five-year period that has written one of the most beautiful chapters in Juventus' history, to which are added the two Champions League finals and the team's belief to win in every possible way.

76 - LEAGUE MATCHES WON 1-0 | The ability of the Bianconeri under Allegri's management to maximize results by finding the goal just once has become proverbial - with Allegri having in recent days surpassed Carlo Ancelotti with 75 in his career. A trademark, a catchphrase that actually represents something much more structured and that tells the defensive, offensive and above all team approach of a group that must know how to work in a choral manner. And then the obsessive attention to detail, the ability to keep his feet on the ground and much more: messages and teachings that Allegri has been able to convey to the dozens of footballers trained at Juventus from 2014 to today.

198 - VICTORIES IN SERIE A | Speaking of round figures, one of the next goals within Coach Allegri's reach is that of 200 league victories with the Bianconeri - another impressive figure, the result of the continuity which remains one of the great cornerstones of his management. In fact, even in the most complex moments of reconstruction, Allegri has always found a way to keep the bar straight, with the usual calm and pragmatic approach of someone who knows how to manage any kind of situation.

69.5% - LEAGUE SUCCESS RATE | Perhaps the figure that more than any other tells of the continuity and exceptional nature of Allegri's management: in the 285 championship games with him on the bench, Juventus won seven times out of 10. Seven times out of 10, an unreal percentage even when compared with that of the best Juventus coaches. A strong record that he doesn't want to give up.
