The 2018/19 Serie A schedule is out and, from the 2018 Summer Tour in the United States, Massimiliano Allegri talked about the always-enthralling 38 matches ahead.
"It's a calendar where the first games seem manageable, but I always look at the final part of the calendar and it's similar if not more difficult than last year," said Allegri. "In the last seven games, starting with Milan, we have Fiorentina, the Turin derby, Inter, Atalanta, Roma and Sampdoria. It will be a complicated run-in, but we will need everyone and have to prepare in the best way."
As always, Allegri sees the league going down to the wire.
"I believe that this year, the championship will be decided right at the end because there are many head-to-head matches between the top contenders. The first half of the season is always important but the second half is decisive."
Finally, Allegri spoke about the Boxing Day fixture away to Atalanta.
"We have to get used to it. A choice has been made and so we will go to Bergamo on Christmas night."
