With this weekend’s return to Serie A action firmly on the horizon, Juventus regrouped in Vinovo this morning to run through their penultimate preparations for Sunday afternoon’s visit to Udinese.
The hosts, who currently occupy ninth spot in the league, began the season in blistering form on their home patch – registering four victories from their first five fixtures at the Stadio Friuli – and will be looking to recapture that momentum against the league leaders after going three months without a Serie A triumph in front of their own fans.
Correct preparation is therefore crucial and Massimiliano Allegri ensured his men were kept on their toes during an intense session which teamed passing exercises and tactical work with a final practice match.
Missing from the action out on the training pitch was Arturo Vidal, who worked separately in the gym as he bids to shake off the knee problem incurred against Parma in midweek.
Tomorrow brings the Bianconeri’s final workout ahead of their departure for Udine, with Allegri due to address the media at midday CET. Live tweets of his press conference can be followed on the club’s official international Twitter account – @juventusfcen.
