Some good news and worthy recognition has arrived for one of our Juventus Women's First Team players at the beginning of this November-December international break: Amalie Vangsgaard has been nominated for the prize of Danish Women's Player of the Year 2024.
The winner is due to be announced on 4 January, 2025 in an event hosted in collaboration between the Danish Football Association (DBU) and the Spillerforeningen (The Danish Footballers' Association)
Amalie joined the Bianconere in the summer, making the move from Paris Saint-Germain, and has already established herself as an important player for Massimiliano Canzi.
In 16 appearances so far, Vangsgaard has scored four times for Juventus, netting in each of Serie A, the Women's Champions League and the Italian Cup.
Congratulations and good luck, Amalie!
