Amanda Nilden and Juventus Women have parted ways, with the Swede, who joined Juventus in the summer of 2021, bidding the Bianconere farewell, having made 65 appearances and scoring eight goals, winning a total of five trophies. She will continue her career in England with with Tottenham Hotspur Women.
Amanda has several special memories in the black and white shirt. From the aforementioned trophies - a scudetto, two Italian Cups and two Super Cups - to the goals and assists that helped achieve these victories in every competition. Since her debut 2021/22 season, Nilden is, with Cristiana Girelli, one of only two Juventus players to have scored at least one goal in all the competitions played by the club: Serie A (four), Coppa Italia (two), Supercoppa Italiana (one) and Champions League (one, in the qualifiers).
Nilden’s numbers speak for themselves. Since playing for Juventus, together with Pauline Peyraud-Magnin (78) and Sofie Junge Pedersen (66), she has been one of the three foreign players to have made at least 65 appearances in all competitions and, since her debut in Serie A, she has participated in 11 goals (four goals and seven assists): among defenders, only Linda Tucceri, Valentina Bergamaschi and teammate Lisa Boattin did better.
A contributor both in defense and attack, while playing both on the left and right flank, Amanda always put the team first. Her commitment and talent allowed her to carve out a special place for herself in the recent history of the Bianconere.
Thank you for everything, Amanda!
