Juventus returned to their Vinovo training base this morning fully determined to shrug off the disappointment of last night’s Coppa Italia defeat by preparing as best as possible for Monday’s visit of Sassuolo.
Despite enduring three successive defeats to Lazio, Napoli and Fiorentina, Eusebio Di Francesco’s men held the Bianconeri to a 1-1 draw on home soil in October and will be hoping to stop the rot by claiming another positive result.
This means the league leaders will have to be on their toes if they are to take another step towards a fourth successive Scudetto title win a victory on Monday, and Massimiliano Allegri wasted little time in beginning his preparations on the training ground today.
Those who featured in yesterday’s clash at Juventus Stadium underwent a warm-down in the gym, while the remainder of the first-team squad underwent a series of drills with and without the ball under the watchful eyes of the boss and his backroom staff.
The only exception was Kingsley Coman, who underwent physiotherapy after suffering a bruised tibia during yesterday’s Coppa Italia clash.
Tomorrow will see the Bianconeri step up their workload during another training session at Juventus Center.
