After a setback last time out, Juventus Women immediately bounced back and returned to winning ways with a comprehensive 3-0 win away at Como on Matchday 7.
Juventus managed possession of the ball and were proactive early on as they went looking for the opening goal. Joe Montemurro watched on as his side pushed their opponents back, and Arianna Caruso went close first as she fired over.
Five minutes later and the goal came, through Cecilia Salvai. She climbed higher than everybody to head in the first of the night, which was also the 600th goal our Bianconere have scored since their debut 2017/18 season. The first was scored all the way back in August 2017, with Martina Rosucci then netting against Torino in the Italian Cup.
Caruso was still very involved, as she always is. She looked to have scored after 25 minutes, but was thwarted by the offside flag as she looked for her 50th goal for the club.
Como threatened themselves and the Bianconere had to be alert to the problems the hosts were capable of causing.
Lineth Beerensteyn and Paulina Nystrom led the attack as Juventus kept knocking on the Como door, though Margherita Monnecchi showed that Como were still alive as well.
Caruso finally got her goal in the second half, firing in a stunning strike from 23 yards out. That goal marked her 50th for the Bianconere, and it's one she had been waiting for.
The icing on the cake came in stoppage time, when Lindsey Thomas headed into an open goal after Sara Gama had seen her own effort come back off the crossbar.
And that's how it ended. Three goals and a clean sheet for Juventus, getting back on track in perfect fashion.
