The FIGC have confirmed the calendar for the 2023/24 Scudetto Poule, following the completion of the Serie A regular season’s 18 matchdays.
Juventus Women will kick off away at Inter on the weekend of 16-17 March, and the season will end on the road at Sassuolo on the weekend of 18-19 May.
The Bianconere's rest weeks come on 23-24 March, and 30 April-1 May.
How it works
The top-five teams from Serie A’s regular season have qualified for the Scudetto Poule, competing to win the title and to qualify for next season’s Women’s Champions League.
The points accumulated during the regular season carry into the Scudetto Poule, as do the head-to-head records and goal records. So, should two teams finish level on points at the end of the campaign, head-to-head records over the four direct clashes (two in the regular season, and two in the Scudetto Poule) will be used as a tiebreaker.
There is a slight novelty this season though, with the top three qualifying for the Women’s Champions League, as Italy have an extra place this term compared to last.
As for the bottom half of the table, the team who finish bottom will be relegated to Serie B, and the team who finish ninth will face a play-off against whoever finishes second in the second tier.
Who is in Serie A's Scudetto Poule?
The Scudetto Poule consists of five teams. Along with Juventus are leaders Roma, Fiorentina, Inter and Sassuolo.
The Poule Salvezza sees AC Milan, Como Women, Sampdoria, Napoli Femminile and Pomigliano hoping to avoid relegation.
