Sunday 16 April 2023 will be the 10th time Juventus play at Sassuolo in the league. The record books demonstrate that the Bianconeri hold the upper hand, having won on six of their visits, drawn twice and lost once, in 2015-16.

Some of the players in the current squad have already taken part in this fixture. Here are some examples.

ON THE RUN

Sassuolo-Juventus in season 2020-21 was played on the third last matchday of the campaign and the Bianconeri won 3-1.

It was a moment of magic from Federico Chiesa that unlocked the match, supplying the ball to Adrien Rabiot, who held his composure to convert with a shot from outside the box.

RAINING GOALS

Six goals were hammered home from the sixth minute to the 64th in the Sassuolo-Juventus meeting from the 2019-20 championship - six goals equally divided between the two teams

In the photo above are two of the goalscorers, Domenico Berardi, who scored the momentary 2-2, while Alex Sandro netted the goal for the definitive 3-3.

EASY STREET

One of the most convincing victories arrived in season 2016-17. First half goals from Gonzalo Higuain and Sami Khedira put the team on easy street. In Massimiliano Allegri's 4-2-3-1 there was also Juan Cuadrado in an advanced role in support of Higuain.

FIRST STALEMATE

In season 2014-15 Sassuolo-Juventus ended all square. The 1-1 draw was an important achievement for the home side, given that the Bianconeri arrived on the back of six straight wins from the opening six matches.
