Braghin: Facing PSG won't be easy

Juventus will take on Paris Saint-Germain in Round 2 of the Women’s Champions League’s League Path, dreaming of qualifying for the group phase of the competition again.

Women’s Football Director Stefano Braghin gave his thoughts on the draw.

“We know that the this qualification path is always complicated, especially as a non-seeded side. It’s not bad much, but the consequence of last year’s results, and we’re paying for that today.

“PSG are a very strong side, they’re ahead of us in the rankings and they’ll be hoping to fight for the trophy until the very end. They are well-structured in all areas and that stems from a system wherein revenues allow for far more investment planning than we have.

“We won’t be too cocky or too defeatist - we’ll go to play the two games giving our best in both. We won’t want to have any regrets. The odds aren’t in our favour, but on the pitch things can change and those who show courage to overturn the odds can be rewarded. It’ll be very difficult, but winning as an underdog is always more special. We hope we can pull it off.”
