Juventus Women have advanced to the Coppa Italia quarter-final, in which they will take on Chievo, after a 4-1 win thanks to goals from Elisa Pfattner, Linda Sembrant, Cristiana Girelli and Lisa Boattin.
In the immediate aftermath, coach Joe Montemurro and Martina Rosucci, who captained the side for the first period, commented on proceedings.
"These matches are useful to get back into the swing of things after the break," Montemurro said.
"We tried some things and gave opportunities to some youngsters with great potential. However, I want to credit Brescia, who made life difficult for us. These matches remain important for our development. We have to keep fighting now – we know what our objectives are."
Rosucci meanwhile commented: "We tried to take command of the match right away, relying on our ability to keep possession. Brescia put in a real shift, closing down every space. It was a struggle to score but we got the result.
“It's always a great feeling coming back to Brescia. I started playing on this very pitch."
