Cambiaso: I am happy and very excited to be here

Andrea Cambiaso is back.

After the commitments of the European Championships, Cambiaso has joined the Bianconeri squad and is hard at work at their training camp in Germany. According to him, he is more charged up than ever. “I'm happy, it’s good to be back here. I'm very excited, renewing with Juve was a no-brainer for me, I'm the happiest guy in the world. Thiago Motta? I already knew him from before, he has a great mentality. He is highly motivated, with a great work ethic, drive and way of thinking. He is demanding and that's a good thing. We are a young team and I think he will help us a lot.

SEASON'S GOALS

“At a minimum, our goal is to reach the Champions League, but we will take everything on a match-by-match basis. That's how Motta is. He puts maximum effort into every task, even friendly matches. We will have to do the same. We need to approach each challenge with enthusiasm and a fighting spirit. I can say that we will give it our all. The new guys are also integrating very well. They work hard, they are hungry and they want to improve and train.

VERSATILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY

“At the moment, the coach is ‘using’ me more on the left as a full-back, but I've been in the group for two days now and I'm versatile, I can play wherever I'm asked. I feel a sense of responsibility every time I take to the pitch. It's a positive thing, it builds self-esteem and the desire to do my best, so I like having pressure on me."
