BENEVENTO BREAKDOWN
"It's a particular and important match because it comes just before the international break, it's a fundamental game for our season. We are facing a team that is not going through a good period at the moment, but knows how to express themselves on the pitch and I know the coach, Filippo Inzaghi, whom I always follow him with affection. He is doing a good job and I have great respect for him."
THE GROWTH OF THE SQUAD
"We have to win game after game, bring home the three points and put pressure on Inter. I want to see growth in terms of our game, now we have more time to work. We have to concentrate on what we are doing: the team is convinced and aware that it can recover points."
TEAM NEWS
"Gianluigi Buffon is doing better and has trained, we'll see if he can play from the start tomorrow. Against Benevento I won't have Aaron Ramsey, Merih Demiral and Alex Sandro available. Alvaro Morata will start from the first minute, as well as Dejan Kulusevski. The way we set-up against Cagliari convinced me, when everyone sacrifices everything they have then it becomes easier and the team benefits from it. Arthur and Weston McKennie are both also doing better. We're trying to manage Arthur better with regards to his workouts, sometimes he finishes them before the others as a precaution. At the moment he plays in the middle of the engine room, but in the future he could also play in front of the defence. Meanwhile, Weston took advantage of not playing midweek and has had a few more days to recover."
UPDATE ON DYBALA
"With the upcoming international break, Paulo Dybala will have a couple of weeks to join the team. For now he is only training without the ball, when he comes into contact with the ball and when he changes direction he still feels a little pain. Unfortunately, we've not had him available or at 100%, I've spoken to him and he wants to play. I see him eager, yet calm to give his contribution for the final rush of the season."
