After the draw in Verona, Juventus will return to play at the Allianz Stadium against Spezia tomorrow evening (20:45 CE). Today, Andrea Pirlo presented the match against the Ligurian outfit in his remote press conference. This is what the coach had to say:
THE NEXT CHALLENGE
"Spezia are proving to be up to the challenge of Serie A and are having a great season. They've had great results, such as their win against a great team like Milan. It will be a difficult match and important for us, because we will have to redeem the two points lost on Saturday in Verona and continue to fight for the Scudetto. We will have to play with intensity and dictate our rhythm from the very first minute. In Verona we conceded goals at a time when there were no signs of danger from our opponents. We analysed the mistakes we made and we will try to avoid them."
SQUAD UPDATES
"It's not conceivable to see Federico Chiesa play as a second striker. We don't have anyone else like him in the team and he is playing well in his position, so we'll continue to use him there. Alvaro Morata partially today, we'll see tomorrow morning whether we can put him on the bench or not. Nicolo Fagioli had a small intestinal problem and was resting, we hope he'll be better for tomorrow. Meanwhile, Weston McKennie is feeling better even though he's been playing a lot of games, he could do with some rest, but in a moment like this we need his contribution. There is no new updates on Arthur, he is continuing his rehabilitation period. Tomorrow's choices are linked to those I will have available, I don't have many and I will try to go with what I have. Some Under 23 players will also be in the squad."
JUVE'S GOALS
"Our goals haven't changed. We're taking each game at a time. The lads believe in the title and are training well and have the desire to win it, they have the right spirit. The team’s morale is good and we haven't dropped our heads, the road is still long and there are many more games to go."
