It was axciting Sunday morning in the EA Sports SkyBox at Allianz Stadium, even before the excitement of Juventus-Frosinone on the pitch as – as happened a few months ago during Juve-Lecce – an EA FC24 showmatch was held between Juventus Dsyre and Frosinone eSports.
It was a friendly event, which featured gamers from the two teams: for Juve, of course, DaniPitbull, the reigning eSerieA champion (his cup is in the new Temple of Trophies at the Juventus Museum) and recent winner of the eSupercup, who once again showcased his skills in black and white.
RESULTS
Match 1 : Juventus 5-1 Frosinone
Match 2 : Juventus 3-1 Frosinone
THE ESERIEA HAS BEGUN!
The Allianz Stadium showmatch concluded a busy week for DaniPitbull, who a few days ago made his debut in the 2024 eSerieA season.
Between February 20 and 21 (Day 1 and 2) DaniPitbull played two matches, the first of which he drew 3-3 against Verona Exceed, the second of which he won 6-4 against Genoa eSports. Therefore, the Bianconeri are currently in third place in the standings of their group with four points after two matches played, with Udinese eSports D-Link leading the way with nine points in three matches, and Genoa second with six points in three matches. On the third and fourth matchdays, Juventus Dsyre will play four games. Also in the Bianconeri's group are Sassuolo eSports, Cagliari eSports and Salernitana eSports.
This year it’s an all-new format of the competition, involving a one-way round with two 9-minute halves then playoffs, the final eight and the final four; all without a looser bracket.
The seven teams in the group will all enter the play-offs, the first place team qualifies directly for the final eight, while the teams ranked second to seventh in Group B will challenge the teams from Group A (2A vs 7B , 3A vs 6B, 4A vs 5B, 5A vs 4B, 6A vs 3B, 7A vs 2B). In other words: first place in the group is a very important goal, because it allows direct access to the final eight without going through the playoffs.
Once the playoffs are over, we will move on to the final eight and the final four scheduled for April 19.
All the best, DaniPitbull!
