The first leg of the World Cup play-offs ended in defeat for Italy, who were beaten by one goal to nil at the Friends Arena in Stockholm.

Blaise Matuidi played the whole game in France's 2-0 win against Wales at the Stade de France. Goals from Antoine Griezmann and Olivier Giroud in either half gave Les Bleus the victory.
Wojciech Szczesny remained on the bench in Poland's 0-0 draw with Uruguay, whilst Rodrigo Bentancur played the full 90 minutes.
Juan Cuadrado was an unused substitute in Colombia's 2-1 defeat to South Korea, as was Sami Khedira in Germany's 0-0 draw with England at Wembley.
Tonight, Medhi Benatia's Morocco are in action as they play the Ivory Coast away in their final World Cup qualifying game. They currently top their group by one point, and need simply to avoid defeat in order to qualify.
Elsewhere Paulo Dybala is part of the Argentina squad who play a friendly away in Russia, in preparation for next summer's tournament.
