A tense and toughly fought European contest between Juventus and Barcelona could well have been swung in the Bianconeri’s favour at the death, but Paulo Dybala’s left-footed effort was well-saved by Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
Shortly after the final whistle, the Argentine shared his thoughts on what ended as a goalless draw.
“We played against a very good team and it was not an easy game to win. They defend better than they did last year. We struggled to get into the box.
“We did have our chances – it was just a shame about the final ball. Now we need to win our next game against Olympiacos.”
Before that, attentions turn to the league campaign, with an away trip to Napoli on the horizon.
“It will be a real challenge for us, at a really intense ground. We’ve got a demanding month ahead of us, but we are Juve and we must continually work to improve and to win games.”
