- GREAT START CONTINUES
Juventus equalled the best start in their history: 28 points in the first 10 Serie A matchdays, the same as in 2012/13.
The Old Lady hasn't lost away from home in the league for 18 games (15 wins, two draws). It is the longest unbeaten away run in Serie A in the Massimiliano Allegri era (the longest previous is 25 games between September 2011 and November 2012 under Antonio Conte).
- DIFFICULT FIRST HALF
For the first time this season Juventus ended the first half trailing, having only conceding four out of seven goals all season in the first period.
- GAME NUMBERS
In the second half Juve continues to shoot a lot, eight shots to Empoli's five, whilst playing 270 passes, 90% of them reaching their intended targets, also winning more duels than in the first half.
- RONALDO!!
Simply decisive.
After his second half brace, Cristiano Ronaldo has now actively participated in 10 Juventus goals this season (seven goals, three assists), of which the Bianconeri have 14 Serie A goals in total. In eight of the 10 Serie A matchdays played, Ronaldo has actively participated in at least one goal.
- ONCE MORE THE WOODWORK
The crossbar hit by Miralem Pjanic early in the second half is the sixth woodwork hit by Juventus this Serie A campaign, in fact only last night's opposition, Empoli have been denied by the frame of the goal more (eight).
