The defensive department of Juventus Women has been bolstered with the arrival of French centre-back Estelle Cascarino, who has signed for the Bianconere.
The 26-year-old has joined on a permanent basis from Paris Saint-Germain, having spent half of last season on loan at Manchester United, and has signed a two-year contract until 30 June 2025.
Having risen through the ranks at Olympique Lyonnais, alongside her twin sister Delphine, Estelle boasts two French championships and a national cup on her resume, as well as an Under 19 European Championship won with her junior national team.
She will now line up in black and white, fresh off the back of playing at the recent FIFA Women's World Cup alongside new club teammate Pauline Peyraud-Magnin. In Australia and New Zealand, Estelle featured in three out of France’s five matches, including two starts, as her side lost on penalties in the quarter-final against hosts Australia.
From now on, however, her attention will be focused on her new club, with whom she will look to add to her trophy cabinet.
Bienvenue, Estelle! See you soon on the pitch!
