After eleven seasons of intense work, victories and great passion on the pitch and behind the desk, Fabio Paratici, Juventus' Managing Director Area Football, will leave the club. His contract, which expires on 30 June 2021, will not be renewed. The Juventus manager and President Agnelli met today at the Juventus Head Quarter of Continassa.
Having arrived from Sampdoria, Fabio joined the Juventus club in the summer of 2010, where he progressively grew in his positions, skills and areas of responsibility. He first started off as the Coordinator of the Technical Area, then went on to fill the role of Sports Director from the 2011-2012 season, late on, in 2018, he became the Chief Football Officer. Now he concludes his Juventus career with the position currently held in the season that is ending.
“They were wonderful years of professional growth and strong emotions. Juventus gave me the opportunity to carry out my work with full freedom and without interference in full respect of my role. For this I would like to thank the whole club, my staff, the employees, co-workers, the players, the coaches, the shareholders, and in particular, the President, Andrea Agnelli. An important chapter of my career closes, as I await new challenges, ”said Fabio Paratici.
“Fabio has written the history of Juventus over the past few years. A growth path characterised by professionalism, perseverance and many successes. 19 trophies in 11 years are the best testimony of his work, which is fully part of the long tradition of our club. Today is the time to thank him for being able to create a strong professional bond, accompanied by a daily passion," said President Andrea Agnelli of the outcome of the meeting with Paratici.
President Agnelli and Fabio Paratici will hold a press conference on Friday 4th June at Allianz Stadium.
