Serie A encounters between Juventus and Cesena tend to be tightly-contested affairs by nature, with the Bianconeri yet to score more than two goals against the Cavallucci Marini in Emilia-Romagna.
Despite registering a relatively low scoring return, the Old Lady hold an overall positive record from the 12 top-flight meetings contested away from Turin, coming away with five victories, six draws and one solitary defeat.
Step back in time as Juventus.com profiles the five Serie A successes in Cesena:
Cesena 0-1 Juventus, April 2012
The Bianconeri’s last victory in Cesena saw them maintain their three-point lead at the top of Serie A and keep up a formidable charge towards the club’s 30th Scudetto after overtaking Milan two weeks previously.
A tense encounter was settled 10 minutes from time by on-loan striker Marco Borriello, who gleefully lashed home from inside the area shortly after entering the fray as a replacement for Alessandro Matri.
Over at the San Siro, the Rossoneri stuck to their task by seeing off Genoa through Kevin Prince Boateng’s late winner. But their attempts to overturn Juventus’ lead would ultimately prove in vein as, two weeks later in Trieste, Antonio Conte’s men clinched the club’s first top-flight title in six years with a thrilling 2-0 win over Cagliari.

Cesena 1-2 Juventus, February 1989
Following a goalless first half, Juventus sparked the game into life within two minutes of the restart, Rui Barros pouncing on a miscued clearance inside the area to send a purposeful finish flying past Sebastiano Rossi in the Cavallucci Marini goal.
Pushing forward in search of an equaliser, the hosts were denied what they thought was a penalty after a coming together between Roberto Bordin and Giancarlo Marocchi at the back post.
And they were to suffer late agony as Rui Barros doubled the visitors’ advantage with five minutes remaining courtesy of a neat lob on the counter attack, rendering Massimo Agostini’s 89th minute strike a mere consolation.
Cesena 0-1 Juventus, November 1976
After both sides saw chances come and go in an evenly-matched affair, Roberto Boninsegna found himself in the right place at the right time to smash home the winner from his position at the back post on 80 minutes.
It was one of the 23 victories registered by Juventus throughout the course of a triumphant campaign in which they pipped Torino to the Scudetto, the first league title under Giovanni Trapattoni’s reign, by a solitary point.
Cesena 0-1 Juventus, November 1974
Another win in Cesena, another title winning season. This time it was Carlo Parola’s men making the journey down to Emilia-Romagna, but the dynamic of the game remained similar to its predecessors.
Following a tense 85 minutes during which the pendulum continually swung back and forth, Franco Causio pounced five minutes from the final whistle to break Cavallucci Marini hearts and earn the visitors a hard-fought triumph
