Back On Track, the story of Federico Chiesa's return from injury, covers over 297 days at various locations in the Juve number 7's long journey to returning on the field of play.
From Rome to Turin, stopping off in Florence, Innsbruck and Forte dei Marmi, we stop off at the places of "Federico Chiesa - Back On Track".
ROME
Where it all began. The moment of anguish. January 9, 2022, at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, in the 32nd minute, Federico Chiesa was helped off the pitch, pain etched on his face.
The images were not encouraging and the diagnosis confirmed the worst-case scenario was in fact reality. In Rome it all happened in a flash, a painful memory from which the long journey began.
INNSBRUCK
Ahead of the operation, it was necessary to fly to Austria, to Innsbruck, to Dr. Flick. Here Federico faced what at the beginning was the part that scared him the most, even if, by his own admission, the most difficult part would come later.
We first visit Innsbruck in the lead-up to the operation and then for a check-up, where we see Dr. Flick's office, where he gives Federico an update on the situation.
FLORENCE
To overcome such a huge obstacle it was important for Fede to go back to his roots, Florence. The Tuscan city allows to look through the window into the family home, a family that has never stopped supporting him, even and above all through the most difficult moments.
It is in Florence where his mother Francesca recounts how she experienced her son's injury, her desire to be next to Federico, drawing on memories of Fede as a child. Here we see Casa Chiesa, we are there with the family for the graduation of his brother Lorenzo, from the same high school as Federico.
There is room for emotion and memories, the present that opens a window on the past.
FORTE DEI MARMI
'Back On Track' is not just about work and football, there is also the opportunity to grow and develop in his private life. Forte dei Marmi is the place where Fede spends his summer, in the company of Lucia, who opens up on their relationship.
Even here, however, work does not stop, and it becomes an interesting opportunity to capture some unique moments, where his private life blends with football.
TURIN
We mention Turin last because it is the place where everything ends and also the location that took centre stage in his journey. Federico's new home, the home of Juventus. The key places are the J|Medical, the Juventus Training Center, the rooms and corridors usually out of bounds to the public, and the gym.
And obviously the Allianz Stadium, the place that Chiesa long dreamed of, where he returned first as a fan, then as a star. His entry as a substitute against Paris Saint Germain brought an end to the nightmare, the end credits of 'Back On Track', but above all a brand new start.
