The Juventus Residency Academy programme has officially begun. The last of the young participants have trickled in over the last few days to the campus at Cantalupa, a municipality within the Turin metropolitan area. It is an ideal place filled with all comforts the young players could need, designed specifically for them to concentrate on their studies and sport, in direct contact with the Juventus staff.
The Juventus Academy Residency is the club's official project allowing players from Canada, North America and South America to train and study in Turin, with direct access to Juventus methodology. Players aged 14 to 19 can choose between a full season or a semester stay.
Over the past few days, the young participants have immersed themselves in the Juventus world, with stadium and museum tours that coincide with the Serie A season opener at Allianz Stadium against Como, a match they attended on 19 August.
The next day, they underwent medical examinations at J|Medical and then sped off for on-pitch training and preparation. They are also getting ready for the start of classes at J College, which begin in early September.
This project provides the young players with excellent training on a technical level, which is unique in Italy and innovative within the club, given the great potential it provides for Juventus.
