Getting to know Nicolo Savona

Just last Monday, he made his Serie A debut against Como.

Twenty-one year-old Nicolo Savona, who recently renewed his contract with Juventus and was promoted to the First Team, came on at the beginning of the second half on Matchday 1, replacing Timothy Weah who had scored the second goal of the game.

And today, Savona went one better, making his first senior start in Bianconero.

It's another milestone reached for the young right-back who grew up in the Juventus youth sector, having graduated from all the youth categories before now reaching the pinnacle of his young career so far.

Born in Aosta in 2003, and Bianconero from a young age, Nicolo rose through the youth teams' ranks, before featuring for the Under-19 side and then, as early as the 2022/23 season, with the Next Gen team. Last season he played a leading role in the Bianconeri's adventure throughout the campaign, which ended in the playoff phase of Serie C, in which he scored two goals.

MEMORABLE NEXT GEN STRIKE

Congratulations on your first start, Nicolo!
