Juventus Women are approaching the most important two important final games of the season. The Bianconere play their last Serie A match of the season on Saturday away to Verona, just three days after they booked their place in the Coppa Italia final, after overcoming their semi-final second leg against Milan in a tightly-contested semi-final.
Coach Rita Guarino and striker, Cristiana Girelli both gave their thoughts on their important upcoming matches today, on the occasion of the presentation of the Coppa Italia Final on of 28 April.
"We hope to celebrate a Scudetto double, together with the men's team on Saturday - said Girelli - But let's go to Verona with the utmost humility. We'll be going into the last matches of the season with both Juventus and Fiorentina as the protagonists, in both the league and the Coppa Italia, and it confirms just how much both sides have done this season. It was an amazing experience at the Allianz Stadium in our game against them, and we hope to feel the same emotions in the Coppa Italia Final at the Tardini in Parma."
Guarino added: "We must recover all of our energy and be in the best possible condition to take to the field. We don't have much time, but we are happy to go into the last game at the top of the table" - On the cup final - "It will be a nice Final, there are two teams that are also playing for the title, and that have been shown to be equal. When we exit the Tardini tunnel, we hope to see a lot of fans they will be able to enjoy a great game."
