4 May 2024, is a very special day for the Turkish-born talent Kenan Yildiz, who celebrates his first birthday as a Juventus First Team player.
Arriving in Turin in 2022, his impact with the Under-19 team was remarkable: with Paolo Montero on the bench, Kenan scored 15 goals in the league, Youth League and Primavera Coppa Italia. In the second half of the season, he began turning out for the Next Gen side in Serie C, getting a taste of 'big league football'.
The forward started this season playing for both the first team and Next Gen team, with Coach Allegri giving him his league debut on Matchday 1 in Udine, in the final minutes of the match, and after scoring in Serie C against Ancona and Pineto, his move to the senior side became permanent.
On 23 December 2023, on his debut as a starter, he scored his first goal in Serie A against Frosinone, following that up with two goals in the Coppa Italia, against Salernitana in the round of 16 and Frosinone in the quarter-finals.
Kenan's solid form earned him a call-up to the Turkish national team in October 2023, scoring his first goal a month later in the Euro2024 Qualifiers against Wales, with six caps so far to his name with his national team.
19 years old, big numbers and a bright future ahead. May it be one of many birthdays spent together. Happy birthday, Kenan!
