How the Bianconeri fared on International Duty

It was an intense evening for the Bianconeri, who were on duty their national teams as they look to qualify for next year's World Cup in Qatar.

Let's start in Europe: Chiesa got onto the scoresheet, but the result wasn't what the Azzurri would have hoped for, as they were held 1-1 to Bulgaria in Florence.

A goal for Chiesa, and an assist for Kulusevski in another fixture our Bianconeri were involved in last night: Sweden-Spain, a Juventus "derby", where Morata was also on the field. The Swedes won the fixture 2-1 through Kulusevski's decisive assist.

Also in action was Szczesny, who took to the field for the full 90 minutes as Poland defeated Albania 4-1.

Moving over to America: to the North, Weston McKennie and his USA side were held to a goalless draw away to El Salvador. In the south, Juan Cuadrado and Colombia played to a 1-1 draw away from home against Bolivia. Both Bianconeri started from the first minute.

Next up was Argentina and Brazil, who both claimed away wins. Paulo Dybala entered the match in the 80th minute, with the score 3-0 in favour of Argentina, and against a 10-man Venezuela side, who later scored in the final moments as the game ended 3-1. Also on the field was the Bianconeri duo of Danilo and Alex Sandro, as they helped Brazil defeat Chile 1-0.

Finally, Bentancur was in action from the first minute against Peru for Uruguay, in a match which played to a 1-1 draw.
