Seven years have passed but it feels like just yesterday.
Seven years since 3 June 2017, a night that started as a shared evening of sport, but ended as a nightmare.
Crowds of Bianconeri fans gathered in Piazza San Carlo to watch the Champions League final between Juventus and Real Madrid, which was being held in Cardiff, on big screens.
It should have simply been an evening of football, a way for us all to experience the final act of the most important European club competition, but unfortunately it turned into a night filled with fear. Following the panic in the crowd and subsequent stampede, Erika Pioletti and Marisa Amato sadly lost their lives.
To honour their memory, this morning, Monday 3 June 2024, Juventus took part in a remembrance event dedicated to the two victims who lost their lives that night. Alongside others, a Juventus banner was displayed at the ceremony held in Piazza San Carlo and attended by the Mayor of Turin, Stefano Lo Russo.
