Allianz Stadium played host to a friendly draw between Italy and Holland on Monday night, as the Azzurri maintained their unbeaten record in the Bianconeri’s ground.
Daniele Rugani played the full 90 minutes, while Mattia De Sciglio came off the bench on the hour-mark to make his third appearance in three fixtures so far under newly appointed manager, Roberto Mancini.
Former Bianconeri striker, Simone Zaza opened the scoring in the 67th minute, turning home Federico Chiesa's cross from the right. However, Domenico Criscito’s red card just two minutes later opened the door for a Dutch fightback and the visitors duly equalised in the 88th minute through Nathan Ake.
Meanwhile in Geneva, Medhi Benatia captained and played the full 90 minutes of Morocco’s 2-1 comeback victory over Slovakia, as they prepare for the upcoming World Cup in Russia.
Ayoub Kaabi and Younes Belhanda struck in a 10-minute spell in the second half in reply to Jan Gregus’ opening goal just moments earlier.
