With a number of Juventus' men's first-team players away on international duty this week, it's time for our latest International Recap wherein we look at how our Bianconeri are faring with their respective nations.
This time, we reflect on the games played on Sunday, 24 March.
THE USMNT WIN THE CONCACAF NATIONS LEAGUE!
There can only be one place to start in this recap, and that is with Weston McKennie, Timothy Weah and their United States teammates who won the CONCACAF Nations League. The two Bianconeri started in the final against Mexico, with Wes playing the whole game and Timo only coming off in stoppage time at the end of the second half.
The win means the USMNT won the competition for the second time, again beating Mexico in the final.
ITALY
After the win over Venezuela on Thursday, the Azzurri managed another win over Ecuador. Luciano Spalletti’s side claimed a 2-0 win on this occasion, with Lorenzo Pellegrini and Nicolo Barella getting the goals.
Of the three Juventus players in Spalletti’s squad this international window, Manuel Locatelli and Andrea Cambiaso appeared as second-half subs.
