Seven Bianconeri all took to the field as March’s international action came to a close on Tuesday.
Stephan Lichtsteiner kicked off Juventus’ involvement early on in the evening, playing the first 45 minutes of Switzerland’s 1-1 friendly draw with USA in Zurich.
Brek Shea had initially opened the scoring for the visitors thanks to a cracking free-kick before striker Jozy Altidore saw red for dissent. Buoyed by their man advantage, the Rossocrociati then got back on level terms when Valentin Stocker prodded home late on.
Elsewhere, Kingsley Coman remained an unused substitute as France Under-19s overcame England 2-1 in their final European Championship Elite Round qualifier at the Stade-Louis Villemer.
Strikes from Sehrou Guirassy and Maxwel Cornet saw Les Bleuets race into a two-goal advantage before Patrick Roberts pulled one back for the Three Lions with 10 minutes remaining.
Over in Amsterdam, Alvaro Morata’s Spain suffered a 2-0 exhibition match reverse at the hands of Holland. The 22-year-old was thrown on for the final 28 minutes in a game where Stefan de Vrij and Davy Klaassen both netted for the Oranje.
Meanwhile at the same time in Turin, Italy and England played out an entertaining 1-1 friendly draw at Juventus Stadium.
Bianconeri trio Gigi Buffon, Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini all featured, with the latter providing a sumptuous assist for Graziano Pelle’s first-half-header. Andrea Barzagli remained on the bench throughout and watched on as the away side pegged the hosts back 11 minutes from time through the newly-entered Andros Townsend.
And finally, Roberto Pereyra and Carlos Tevez both entered the fray as second-half substitutes during Argentina’s 2-1 exhibition match victory over Ecuador at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
La Albiceleste went ahead on eight minutes through Sergio Aguero only for Miler Bolanos to equalise at the midway point of the first period. The result was made safe for Gerardo Martino’s men however, when Javier Pastore struck the winner just shy of the hour mark.
