Juventus-Verona: Did you know?

Matchday 10 sees the Bianconeri host 16th-placed Hellas Verona in their last league match of October, looking to follow up on last weekend's big victory in Milan and keep the pressure on at the top of the Serie A table.

Juventus have a strong record against Verona, having failed to score in just one of the last 29 meetings against the Gialloblu, as they target another three points in front of their home fans.

Before Saturday evening's 20:45 CEST kick-off at the Allianz Stadium, here are five pre-match curiosities to know ahead of the game:

TIGHT AT THE BACK | Juventus have won the last three Serie A matches against Verona, keeping a clean sheet in each of these. The Bianconeri have not conceded a goal in their last four games in total (360 minutes) - only Nice boasts a longer open streak without conceding a goal (363') in the five major European leagues.

TOUGH IN TURIN | Verona have never won in the 32 matches played away at Juventus' in Serie A – their record reads five draws and 27 defeats.

RELIABLE RUGANI | Juventus have conceded only one goal in the eight matches in which Daniele Rugani has started from the 1st minute since last year (38 goals conceded in 39 matches without him starting). Furthermore, Daniele is just one game away from keeping a clean sheet for the 50th time in all competitions with Juventus.

STATESIDE STAR | Seven of Weston McKennie's nine goals in Serie A have come in home matches – the exceptions being one goal against Milan and one against Verona, both in 2021. Should he score, the Juventus midfielder would reach 10 goals in Serie A, as many as those scored by all the other US players combined (Pulisic 4, Bradley 3, Lalas 2, Busio 1).

NEXT GEN | Juventus is, with Udinese, one of the only two teams in this championship that have already fielded two players born from 2005 onwards: Kenan Yildiz (33 minutes on the pitch) and Dean Huijsen (12).
