Juventus was front and centre at Milan Games Week 2023, the most important event in Italy dedicated to gaming and eSports. Since 2011, the event has welcomed thousands of visitors every year, allowing them to discover the latest news in the sector and the biggest eSports tournaments, and enjoy many moments of entertainment. This year, Juventus claimed the “Best Italian Commercial Activation” award with Juventus x Dsyre - assigned by the jury composed of Giorgio “Pow3R” Calandrelli - Content Creator & Former Pro Player of Fnatic, Cecilia Ciocchetti - Esports Reporter and Digital Media Manager, Francesco " Deugemo" Lombardo - Esports Reporter and Simone "AKirA" Trimarchi - Esport Manager for Cookies digital.
The Italian eSports Awards are the first awards dedicated entirely to eSports in Italy, and are organised by IIDEA, the association representing the video game industry. The awards ceremony, during which the winners for each category were revealed (eight in total), was held on November 24th on the Central Stage of Milan Games Week & Cartoomics, at Rho Fiera Milano.
As part of the DSYRE stand, a space dedicated to the Juventus Dsyre team was set up, with the possibility of playing FC 24 with stations available to visitors who were also able to meet our team - the coach Daniele “Dagnolf” Tealdi and Danilo “Danipitbull” Pinto. Completing the stand was the backdrop dedicated to Kojiro Hyuga aka Mark Lenders - the most popular and photographed backdrop, with which many posed with their Juventus shirts - one of the most requested and purchased by the many enthusiasts present at the event.
Juventus is super proud of the "Best Italian Commercial Activation" award received, underlined by the words of Juventus Brand Manager Gianmarco Pino:
“We were satisfied with the first season spent together with Dsyre, a period characterised by successes and positive synergies. We continued our project with determination this year too, demonstrating with facts our commitment to focusing on this constantly growing sector. The eSerie A trophy, won alongside Dsyre, has earned a well-deserved space in the Trophy Temple at the J-Museum, underlining our tangible commitment to promoting and supporting eSports nationwide. We thank all those who contributed to making this extraordinary journey possible."
