Pierre Kalulu is one of the new faces around Continassa after his recent arrival at Juventus, and he has already made a winning debut for the Bianconeri off the bench in the 3-0 win away at Verona.
Now, days after signing, he has been put through his official presentation press conference at the Allianz Stadium. Below is what he had to say.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF LIFE IN BIANCONERO
“I feel good here. I’ve come into a good group that has welcomed me warmly, and I was able to get a few minutes in against Verona and the game couldn’t have gone better.
“I’ll look to get the most out of my characteristics here, I’ll put myself at the disposal of the club and give my all for the shirt.
“The Coach played a big part in my decision. He wanted me in the team and I appreciate his way of coaching and playing and have for a while now.
“There’s a good group here, but we know we have to take things one game at a time. We’ve started well, but it’s just the beginning. We want to give our all for the club and the fans.”
NOT TO BE MISSED
“I’m religious, and so I think that this opportunity coming now is a sign, it means that it’s a chance that has to be taken. I don’t know what will happen after this season, but I know I want to make the most of this new adventure. Then, we’ll see. I’m only thinking about the present.
“The dressing room is strong. We’re happy with the start but nobody is getting carried away, we know that we have to keep working as we have been so far.
“It’s true that I’ve won the Scudetto recently, but it’s in the past. I’ll try to bring my experience and put it to good use, but we can only achieve things by working together as one.”
KEEN TO PLAY AT THE ALLIANZ STADIUM
“I’m feeling good, I’m in good shape. I’ve been training for a few days and when my time comes, whether I start or come off the bench, I’ll be ready.
“On Sunday I’ll experience the Allianz Stadium as my home stadium for the first time. I can’t wait to meet the fans up close.”
