Kenan Yildiz today, in our Frosinone-Juventus match-up, became the youngest foreign goalscorer in the history of Juventus in Serie A, at just 18 years and 233 days old.
He did it in his first start, with an absolute gem: an unstoppable dribble to get past three opponents and then a very powerful right-footed shot at the near post that left the keeper no chance.
A stunning strike, followed by his usual celebration with his tongue, recalling the greatest scorer in the history of Juventus: Alessandro Del Piero.
Not only that, Kenan is the first player born from 2004 onwards to start for Juve in Serie A and is the third youngest Juventus scorer of the 21st century after Kean and Coman (who never scored in Serie A, but only in the Cup Italy).
Record numbers. Ladies and gentlemen, Kenan Yildiz.
BEFORE KENAN
Who was the youngest foreign goalscorer in Serie A for Juve before Yildiz? Marcelo Danubio Zalayeta, at 19 years and 99 days old.
