Opposition boss Luis Enrique believes tomorrow’s Champions League final between Juventus and Barcelona has all the ingredients of an epic encounter.
Both teams head into the affair with domestic titles and cups under their belts, meaning whoever emerges victorious on Saturday night will be heading home with a historic treble, adding extra spice to an already mouthwatering match-up.
Speaking to the media in Berlin, the 45-year-old said: “Both sides will have the chance to go down in history by winning a treble. I think it will be a fascinating final.”
The Barcelona manager joins opposite number Massimiliano Allegri in leading his team to the Champions League final during his first season in charge, and had kind words to say about the impact the Tuscan has had since joining the club.
“I imagine us having more of the ball than Juventus, but they’ll also cause us a few problems, as they’re a side who love to dictate the game. Hats off to Allegri for the job he’s done there and the way he’s managed to bring across his ideas to the team.”
