Juan Cuadrado has made a resounding return to the Bianconeri squad at just the right time during some of the biggest games of the season. He spoke today on TIM Cup Final media day:
WELCOME BACK!
"I'm happy to return to the field at this moment when so many important matches are being played. And I have to say it hasn't gone too bad...I'm very happy because I was really worried because the pain was very strong, but now I'm only thinking about giving everything for the team to win as much as possible."
A TOUGH FINAL OPPONENT
"We can only think about one objective: Wednesday's Coppa Italia Final. We will face a very strong Milan team. We're both at the end of a long season and feel the fatigue, but you always find the energy in a final. Therefore, we must give 100%, everything we have. We know Milan well and beating them will be tough but not impossible. We know we will see a different team than in league games, doing everything to win the trophy."
SCUDETTO? NOT YET...
"We still need one more point to get over the finish line. It's true that the math is very difficult to overturn things but we've got to stay focused until it's done. It's been a really tough season, sweaty until the end and this would make the victory even sweeter. Napoli has really pushed the envelope on us and made the campaign very tricky. If and when we win, it will be a great joy."
JUAN THE OUTSIDE BACK
"I've tried to play fullback and it's gone well enough. When you play at the back, you have to be very focused at all times and defend in the best way. I always willingly do whatever I'm asked by the coach. For example, Mr. Allegri asks me to send in many crosses because they come out well!"
