Fabio Miretti has renewed his contract with Juventus, prolonging his stay in black and white until 2027.
Having joined the Juventus youth sector in 2011, Miretti worked his way up through the ranks and was soon in the limelight, thanks to his impressive displays on the pitch. Already with the Under-17s in the 2019-20 season he stood out as one of the leaders of the group, scoring 15 goals in just 17 games before the forced stop due to the pandemic. The following year he formed part of the Next Gen team, donning the captain's armband as well, before being called up to the First Team in the 2021-22 campaign.
On 8 December 2021 he made his senior debut in the Champions League against Malmo, before earning a first Serie A appearance against Salernitana on 20 March 2022. Last season he was fully part of the senior squad, growing in personality and character while making a total of 40 appearances across all competitions.
He recently took part in the 2023 European Championship with the Italian Under-21 national team, but has already earned his first cap with the senior national team, featuring in a friendly against Austria on 20 November 2022.
A versatile and intelligent midfielder, able to adapt to any situation, Fabio has shown immense growth over a short period of time, with his extension serving as motivation to further raise the bar and continue his success in Bianconero.
Congratulations, Fabio!
