Motta: We're working well and I'm very happy

After Andrea Cambiaso and Vasilije Adzic, Coach Thiago Motta also shared his thoughts from the training camp at the adidas HQ in Herzogenuarach in Germany, looking back on his team's working week and addressing Friday first pre-season friendly against Nurnberg.

GOOD FEELINGS

"Here in Germany we've had a very good time, I've liked everything: from the facilities they've made available to us, to the commitment of all the players. We're working well and I'm very happy. I've seen, from the first days in Turin, that this is a united group, a group that has many ambitions, and we told each other so from the first training session. It will be like that, always, day after day. The younger players? They all made a very good impression on me. They arrived at the training camp, as is normal, with great enthusiasm and they showed it in training.

DV9

"There is no pressure, only a great responsibility. Vlahovic must continue working as he is doing. Scoring goals is important for a striker, but there are many other tasks in football that are just as important for a striker, he knows that and he does them very well. Dusan is a very important player for this team, but as I said in my first press conference, a great talent always needs the support of the whole team.

A MONTH TO GO

"We are preparing as best we can to be ready for the first official match against Como. I have told those who are not with us in Germany to take advantage of these days to rest and keep fit, and when we are all together, they should be at 100 per cent.

NURNBERG FRIENDLY

"I have not yet thought about the line-up for tomorrow (Friday, 26 July), I will evaluate who will be best after these days of work, and I will select them. In this first test against Nurnberg I would like to see some ideas that we have developed in these first two weeks of training put into practice. I'm very curious and I'm also sure that one aspect will not be missing: the commitment that every single player will put on the pitch."
